Individual passages from conversations in the digital messenger were torn from their original context, collected, and exposed on ceramic plates modeled on chat windows. The messages received allow the viewer to feel a certain intimacy and sense the conversation, but exclude the sender. The everyday messages are physically brought into the room and thus captured. The clay as a carrier material has an ancient tradition in connection with language: The cuneiform script - the oldest script of mankind was written on plates of clay and burned.
